We tried for 17 months to have a baby. There were lots of tears and frustration
each month when we weren't successful. But finally, God answered our prayers and has blessed us with a baby. Since
we have family and friends all over the U.S., we decided a website dedicated to Baby J. was the best way to let everyone share
in our joy!
We are going to try to update this site at least once a month with pictures as my belly grows,
nursery pictures, ultrasound pictures, registry information, and eventually some pictures of Baby J!!!!

How we found out we were expecting...
We figured out that we got pregnant while in St. Petersburg, Florida visiting Jeff's grandparents
- it was probably on Monday, May 3, 2004. We had a wonderful time there and hated to come home. We would have
really hated it if we hadn't been looking so forward to our "honeymoon" cruise to Bermuda!!!
We left for Bermuda on Saturday, May 15, 2004. While cruising, I suspected I might
be pregnant. I wasn't sick, but just wasn't feeling myself. We returned home on Saturday, May 22, 2004.
While Jeff went to the gym, I went to Wal Mart to get some pregnancy tests. I took them while he was gone and they were
immediately positive! Of course I was ecstatic and couldn't wait for Jeff to get home. When he came in, I gave
him a Father's Day card from his baby, along with the positive pregnancy tests. He was stunned, and relieved that it
had finally happened. We were going to have a baby!!!!
